National Cup is prepared for playing, yesterday were approved system of this event and also national teams were drawn to the groups for main stage of the tournament. With this was made schedule for main stage too, schedule for Play Off will be known soon.

National teams captains have to send me map list until tomorrow or their teams get random maps!

System of the tournament

There is 24 national teams in this tournament, all teams were divided to 6 groups for main stage. Each team play versus all others teams in its group. When all teams play all their matches, teams will be sorted to the "global rank” by this rule:

a) by position
b) by number of points (2points for win, 1 for draw, 0 for loss) in group
c) by won matches
d) by +/- game points
e) by last national cup standing
d) randomly
After sorting will be teams put to the specific part of Play Off, what deppends on each team position in "global rank”. Teams on 17th-24th place gonna play pre-pre-sixsteenfinal, winners of this matches challenges teams on 13th-16th position in "global rank”,… So even if there is a team, which lose all matches in main stage, it has still chance to win whole tournament. You can see it on the picture below. In each part of Play Off are teams resort to play everytime best team with worst, 2nd best with second 2nd worst, …
